The Guardian 22 SS was created to address concerns with using aluminum baffles in our Guardian 22 suppressor. While we think aluminum is just fine, we are really good listeners. Just like the Guardian 22, the Guardian 22 SS is fully user serviceable and can be taken apart with a 1" socket, wrench or crescent wrench. Also like the Guardian 22, the SS version is among the quietest .22 suppressors available. The Guardian 22 SS tube and end caps are made of aircraft grade aluminum but uses stainless steel baffles. This means the Guardian 22 SS baffles can be cleaned in solutions that will damage aluminum, such as ultrasonic cleaners.
